Grading

Rip N Ship includes the fictional SAG grading service. Additional providers such as PSA- or Beckett-themed experiences can be installed as community Workshop add-ons when available.

The complete grading flow

  1. Sleeve and top load each card you want to submit.
  2. Open the laptop and visit the chosen grading website.
  3. Choose a service level and eligible cards.
  4. Pay for the order.
  5. Receive that provider's submission kit on the table.
  6. Load the reserved cards into the kit and complete packing.
  7. Follow tracking on the same provider's website.
  8. Wait for the returned mystery wrappers or slabs.
  9. Open the return and inspect the grades.

One active kit per provider

Finish the existing submission kit before starting another order with the same grading company. SAG, PSA, Beckett, and other providers keep separate table kits and separate order status.

If the website says cards were received while a kit still appears unfinished on the table, return to the room, select that provider's exact kit, and follow its current prompt. Do not load cards into another company's box.

Eligibility checklist

A grading candidate must generally be:

  • sleeved;
  • top loaded;
  • not in a magnetic holder;
  • not on a display shelf;
  • not already reserved by another grading order.

Table kits

Each company's box is its own movable table object. Enter Q placement mode before expecting the green move highlight. Hover only determines which object is selected while placement mode is active.

Returns

Returned mystery wrappers can also be moved in placement mode. During opening, allow the animation to finish before the next input. After the wrapper is ripped, the hint bar changes to slab inspection controls.

Removing a grading-provider mod

The game transfers that provider's slabs and active orders back to SAG across save slots before removal. Card identity, grade, value, ownership, and display placement are preserved. Read and confirm the warning; never delete mod folders manually while the game is running.

Troubleshooting a stuck order

  1. Confirm you are using the same provider website and table kit.
  2. Finish any card, wrapper, or placement animation.
  3. Close the laptop and inspect the kit prompt in the room.
  4. Save and restart.
  5. Reopen the provider's tracking page.
  6. If still stuck, report the provider, order number, website status, kit text, and whether cards are visible in the box.
